Back in 2020, I was sitting in a coffee shop in Dubbo when a friend called me, stressed about her mortgage rates. She'd been with the same bank for fifteen years but had no idea if she was getting a fair deal. That conversation happened three more times that week with different people.
The problem wasn't lack of information – it was too much confusing information. Financial advice felt either too basic or overwhelmingly complex. People needed someone to bridge that gap without the sales pressure.
So we built ymirviaosara as the financial education platform we wished existed – honest, practical, and focused on what actually matters to everyday Australians.
